Internet Construction Update

The micro-trenching phase of the project is progressing according to schedule.  By the end of this week, most of Zones 1-10 will have the fiber installed in their streets. Zones 11-14 will be completed during the month of July.

Once the fiber has been installed in the micro-trench, the next step is to apply an asphalt overlay to cover the micro-trench and blend it in with the rest of the street. That step started this week in Zone 1.  “No Parking” signs will go up again in the Zones so that the construction teams can clean the streets and apply the asphalt overlay.  We ask that residents be aware of the 3″ wide band of asphalt that is being applied.  The construction teams will be on hand to assist anyone that has to enter or exit their driveway while the asphalt is drying.  The remaining 811 markings on the streets will be removed 4 weeks after each street has completed both construction steps.
