Halloween House Decorating Contest & Candy Giveaway
The Amerige Heights HOA Board would like to announce our community’s 1st ever Halloween House Decorating Contest and Candy Giveaway.
For the contest, there are 3 categories for judging the outside of the homes:
- Best Halloween Theme
- Scariest
- Best Special Effects
Judging will take place during the evening of Saturday October 29th and Sunday October 30th. Winners will be announced on October 31st.
If you are interested in participating in the contest, please click here to register. All single family homes, townhomes and condos are welcome to participate. The deadline to register for the contest is October 24th. A map of all participating homes will be posted the following day.
The Candy Giveaway will take place on the 31st from 6-9pm at McClanahan Park (on the corner of Root St and Stein-Strauss St). Stop by to pick up some candy and to take your picture with the “SPOOKY” Alpha-Lit Marquee Letters.
The section of Amerige Heights that contains McClanahan Park, Shapiro St,, Simon St, Evans St,, Root St, Stein-Strauss St and Finch Ln are extremely crowded and busy on Halloween night. When driving, we ask that you be very mindful of all the children and families that are outside that evening in our community.
A huge “Thank You” to our local Mathnasium in the Amerige Heights Town Center for sponsoring all these events and providing the candy, prizes and photo op for everyone to enjoy.
