Community Parking and Safety E-blast

Posted By on December 4, 2024

Dear Amerige Heights Residents,

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the importance of following our parking regulations, which are designed to keep our community safe and organized.

Parking Limitations: 72-Hour Rule
As outlined in our community guidelines, vehicles should not be parked in the same spot for more than 72 hours. This rule is in place to ensure that parking spaces remain available and accessible for all residents and guests.

Ongoing Enforcement
Our security patrol, Allied Universal, has been actively monitoring parking in the community and will continue to enforce this rule. Please note that any vehicle left in the same spot for over 72 hours will be towed at the owner’s expense. This policy is important for maintaining availability of parking spaces and preventing long-term parking issues.

Recent Towing Actions
In recent weeks, we have had to tow vehicles that did not comply with the 72-hour parking rule. While we understand this may be frustrating, these actions are essential to maintaining fairness and order within the community. Unfortunately, the cost of towing cannot be reimbursed, as it is the responsibility of each resident to ensure their vehicle is moved on time.

How You Can Help
We kindly ask all residents to review the parking guidelines to avoid any future issues. If you’re planning to be away or if you cannot move your vehicle within the 72-hour window, please consider making arrangements with a neighbor or contact our office for assistance.

Safety Tip: Check Your Outdoor Lighting
In light of recent incidents in the neighborhood, we strongly encourage all residents to inspect their outdoor lighting, especially porch lights. Ensuring that lights are working properly and updating any photocell sensors where needed can help improve the safety and security of our community. Proper lighting is an easy and effective way to discourage criminal activity and enhance everyone’s peace of mind.

We’re Here for You
If you have any questions or need clarification about our parking policies or other community guidelines, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are happy to assist you and ensure everyone feels informed and supported.

Thank you for your continued cooperation in making Amerige Heights a safer and more pleasant place to live.

Warm regards,

Amerige Heights Community Association
