Safety Committee Update:

During the June 23rd Homeowners Association meeting at the Clubhouse, residents expressed concerns about safety within Amerige Heights and around Fullerton in general.  In order to better address the resident’s concerns, the Amerige Heights Board of Directors recommended the formation of a Safety Committee which will be made up of Amerige Heights residents.  They will be tasked to research various safety concerns that affect the neighborhood.  A few of the topics will include ways to protect your home, better street lighting, lights at pedestrian crossings, researching new parking/patrol vendors, speed humps/traffic surveys, etc.

One additional item will be to provide guidance to the independent and separately managed Amerige Heights Neighborhood Watch (AHNW) program.  This program is a direct relationship between the residents of Amerige Heights and the Fullerton Police department.  They are currently waiting to hear back from the police department to schedule a community-wide overview of the program.  Once a meeting date has been established, the information will be shared with the community.
