BASTANCHURY SPORTS PARK
January 2006
The newest addition to Fullerton’s park system is the 10.8-acre Bastanchury Park, located at Bastanchury Road and Malvern Avenue. The park, which cost approximately $6 million to develop, features two lighted softball fields, one lighted soccer field, a lighted full-court basketball court, a children’s playground (pictured here), concession stand, restrooms, and a multi-purpose trail system. Construction of the facility, which has parking spaces for 100 vehicles, was funded for the City by the LSF II, developers of the Amerige Heights residential development. This brings the total of City parks to more than 50.
The Sports Park is maintained and operated by the City of Fullerton and is not a part of the Amerige Heights Community.
