Protocols on How and When to Contact the Officer on Duty
- Emergency Situations: DIAL 911
- Urgent Situations: Immediately contact the patrol officer if you notice any suspicious activity or urgent safety concerns.
- Non-Emergency Situations: For non-urgent matters, such as reporting a minor issue or requesting information, call or text the patrol officer.
Services Provided by Proliant
- Community Patrol Presence Officers conduct routine patrols throughout the neighborhood by vehicle and on foot. Maintaining a visible presence helps deter criminal activity while allowing officers to observe and respond appropriately to potential safety concerns.
- Parking Monitoring Officers monitor parking activity within the community’s private streets and designated areas. This includes identifying vehicles parked in fire lanes, restricted areas, or blocking access points. Parking enforcement on public streets remains under the authority of local law enforcement.
- Communication with Community Management Proliant maintains regular communication with the community management team to address concerns, report observations, and coordinate responses to safety related matters.
- Incident Documentation Notable incidents within the community are documented through detailed reporting that outlines the situation, actions taken, and recommended follow up when appropriate. Photographs and video may also be collected when appropriate to support incident documentation.
- Resident Interaction Officers are encouraged to maintain a professional and approachable presence within the community. Familiarity between officers and residents helps improve awareness and strengthens overall neighborhood safety.
- Patrol Technology and Reporting Proliant uses modern patrol reporting systems that document officer activity, patrol locations, and incident reports in real time. This technology provides transparency and accountability while allowing management to review patrol activity when needed.
Patrol Personnel for Amerige Heights
- Post Commander, Daniel Zelaya: Daniel Zelaya will serve as the Patrol Supervisor responsible for overseeing patrol operations at Amerige Heights. In this role he supervises patrol officers, ensures patrol standards are maintained, and works closely with community management to address safety concerns within the neighborhood.Daniel brings more than a decade of private security experience with Proliant and a strong background in field supervision, operations management, and officer development. Throughout his career he has overseen security operations across commercial properties, and municipal accounts, with a focus on professionalism, accountability, and client communication. Before entering the private security sector, Daniel participated in the Los Angeles Police Department Explorer and Cadet programs, where he received early training in law enforcement procedures, officer safety, and community relations.Daniel will work closely with the Board and community to review patrol activity, discuss safety trends, and ensure patrol services remain responsive to the needs of the Amerige Heights community.
